Q: Tell us about yourself

I am Morgan from Edmonton, Canada. I am a writer and an actor. I like creating interactive experiences like running summer camps and teaching drama to young people.

I have been contemplating learning to code for a while now. My friends finally drove me to commit to learning to code.

Q: How do you like coding so far?

Altcademy is my first time formally learning how to code. Before Altcademy, I tried learning on FreeCodeCamp and Game Maker Studio on my own.

I have been enjoying Altcademy so far. The curriculum is very engaging. I never get tired or bored with it. It’s inspiring me to start my own project in the future.

I am learning a lot. I realized that each programming language has its own quirks. So, it’s quite interesting to learn different programming languages.

Q: What are your goals?

I am aiming to finish the whole program by the end of Jan 2021. My goal is to become a full-time web developer. I also want to use the ability to code to build creative things!
