Q: Tell us about yourself!

I am currently working as a technician. There are a lot of software companies and opportunities here in America, so I want to change my career path to programming.

Q: How did you pick Altcademy?

I took a Python course at the University of Georgia to see what programming is like. After the course, I looked into bootcamps. As I live in California, there are many bootcamps here. Most bootcamp offerings are expensive. I discovered that Altcademy’s online programs are a lot more affordable. The syllabus and curriculum at Altcademy also offer a comprehensive amount of materials, many of which are new to me. So, I joined the online program.

Q: What’s the experience like learning online?

I am quite used to learning online. I took the python at the University of Georgia, and it was also online and self-paced. I also took some courses in C++, which was short, and I didn’t get a lot of things from them. At Altcademy, it's the first time I get to talk to online teachers! I am liking the experience so far!

Q: What are your future goals and plans?

As soon as I finish this program, I switch my career path and start working on software and programming!
